Your privacy is important to us and our primary goal is to provide high quality Services and Products. It is VACATION RENTAL PARKING SOLUTIONS, INC.'s policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable laws and regulations regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, https://vrpsinc.com, and other sites we own and operate.
Privacy Policy Applicability
This privacy policy applies to all information we collect through our Services from all users, including you. "Services" means any products, services, content, features, technologies, or functions, and all related websites, applications and services offered to you by Vacation Rental Parking Solutions, Inc. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this policy. Throughout this policy, we use the term "personal information" to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been aggregated and/or anonymized so that it does not identify a specific user.
Information We Collect
Information we collect includes both information you knowingly and actively provide us when using or participating in any of our services and promotions, and any information automatically sent by your devices in the course of accessing our products and services.
When you create a VRPS Account, we collect the following information from you:
Account Information - cellular/wireless telephone number, machine or mobile device ID and other similar information.
- Identification Information - your name, street address, email address, and date of birth (or other governmental issued verification numbers).
- Device Information - information about you: (a) from your mobile device or computer such as your device type, machine or mobile device identification number, Geolocation Information, time zone, language setting, browser type, and IP address, and (b) from third parties for purposes of transaction processing, identity verification, fraud detection or prevention and other similar purposes. For fraud prevention purposes, we also may link your machine ID with the machines of others who use your same payment cards.
- Geolocation Information - information that identifies with reasonable specificity your location by using, for instance, GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell site triangulation. In addition, some of our Services may ask you for permission to share your current location within your device settings to enhance our Services. If you do not agree to our collection of Geolocation Information, our Services may not function properly when you try to use them. For information about your ability to restrict the collection and use of Geolocation Information to enhance our Services, please refer to the settings available in your device.
- Social Web Information - including but not limited to your Facebook Connect credentials and email account information. If you authorize Facebook Connect, the plug in allows us access to your email address, Facebook friends list, and public profile (including profile picture). Social and e-mail contact information helps you connect to friends and contacts for invitation and payment transmission purposes (as well as helping us improve the Services and fight fraud).
- Financial Information - bank account online login information, bank account and routing numbers and credit cards linked to your VRPS account.
- Log Data - When you visit our website, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, other details about your visit, and technical details that occur in conjunction with any errors you may encounter
- Personal Information - may include one or more of the following: Name; Email; Date of birth; Phone/mobile number, and Home/mailing address
Please be aware that while this information may not be personally identifying by itself, it may be possible to combine it with other data to personally identify individual persons.
Legitimate Reasons for Processing Your Personal Information
We only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so. In which instance, we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you.
Collection and Use of Information
We may collect personal information from you when you do any of the following on our website:
- Use our Software and Services for reservations
- Sign up
- Sign up to receive updates from us via email or social media channels
- Use a mobile device or web browser to access our content
- Contact us via email, social media, or on any similar technologies
- When you mention us on social media
We may collect, hold, use, and disclose information for the following purposes, and personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes:
- to enable you to customize or personalize your experience of our website, app, services, or products
- to contact and communicate with you
- for analytics, market research, and business development, including to operate and improve our website, and associated applications
- for advertising and marketing, including to send you promotional information about our products and services and information about third parties that we consider may be of interest to you
- to consider your employment application
- to enable you to access and use our website and associated applications

- to run competitions, sweepstakes, and/or offer additional benefits to you
- to comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have

Security of Your Personal Information
When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and no one can guarantee absolute data security. We will comply with laws applicable to us in respect of any data breach.
You are responsible for selecting any password and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services.
How Long We Keep Your Personal Information*
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need to. This time period may depend on what we are using your information for, in accordance with this privacy policy. If your personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.
However, if necessary, we may retain your personal information for our compliance with a legal, accounting, or reporting obligation or for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific, or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.
- User Accounts: Data associated with property owners, rental companies, and service desk accounts is retained for the duration of the active relationship and for up to 24 months after account inactivity, unless longer retention is required by law or contract.
- Guest Data: Guest registration, reservation, and parking activity data is generally retained for 12-24 months following the stay, depending on property-specific policies. Some information may be retained longer to comply with regulations or legal obligations.
- License Plate Recognition (LPR) Scans: Retained for up to 180 days unless needed for enforcement, appeals, or audits.
- Payment and Enforcement Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial and regulatory obligations.

How You Can Access, Modify, or Delete Your Data
You have the right to request details about the personal data we hold about you and to request corrections or deletions where applicable.

To protect your privacy and ensure security, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling any request. This may include providing:
- The license plate or reservation ID associated with your account or pass.
- The last four digits of the credit card used for any related transaction.
- Other details necessary to confirm your identity.
Authorized Agents:
You may authorize someone to make a request on your behalf, but they must provide proof of authorization (e.g., power of attorney or written consent).
Processing Timeline:
We aim to respond to verified requests within 45 days, as permitted by applicable law.
Accessing or Deleting Your Data
You have the right to request a copy of your personal information, ask for corrections, or request deletion of your data.

You can also opt out of non-essential communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in emails or replying "STOP" to SMS messages where applicable.
Security Practices
We take data security seriously and uses a combination of physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information. These measures include:
- Access Controls: Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only, including members of our support, engineering, and security teams, based on role and business need.
- Data Transmission: Sensitive data is encrypted during transmission and at rest where appropriate.
- Breach Protocols: In the event of a suspected data breach, we will promptly investigate and notify affected users and/or regulators as required by applicable laws.
- Vendor Requirements: All third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, messaging providers like Twilio) are required to implement and maintain data protection standards that meet or exceed industry norms.
While no system is 100% secure, we regularly assess our security practices to mitigate risks and continuously improve our safeguards.
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete that information in accordance with applicable laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
We may disclose personal information to:

- sponsors or promoters of any competition, sweepstakes, or promotion we run

Right of Deletion
You have the right to ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you (subject to exceptions the law provides). Please note that you may no longer be able to use our Services if you delete your personal information.

You have the right to not be discriminated against if you exercise these privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you, deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different quality of goods or services if you choose to exercise these rights.

To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we take steps to verify your identity and will require you to be logged in to your VRPS account before granting you access to your personal information or complying with your request.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf as permitted under law, though before we process that request, we will require that you provide the authorized agent written permission to do so and verify your identity directly with us.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may charge a reasonable fee to comply with your request.
Exceptions to These Rights
California law provides for certain exceptions to the rights described above. We reserve the right to avail ourselves of these exceptions where applicable.
Your Rights and Controlling Your Personal Information
You always retain the right to withhold personal information from us, with the understanding that your experience of our website may be affected. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. If you do provide us with personal information you understand that we will collect, hold, use and disclose it in accordance with this privacy policy. You retain the right to request details of any personal information we hold about you.
If we receive personal information about you from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this privacy policy. If you are a third party providing personal information about somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person's consent to provide the personal information to us.
If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time. We will provide you with the ability to unsubscribe from our email-database or opt out of communications. Please be aware we may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity.
If you believe that any information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, please contact us using the details provided in this privacy policy. We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or out of date.
If you believe that we have breached a relevant data protection law and wish to make a complaint, please contact us using the details below and provide us with full details of the alleged breach. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body or data protection authority in relation to your complaint.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a variety of technologies to improve user experience, analyze usage patterns, and deliver relevant content. These may include:
